About this Event
Join us in celebrating the Winter Solstice and the returning sun at this beautiful, contemplative service.
Together, we’ll honor the changing season and welcome the light with reflection, joy, and a deep sense of community. As the longest night of the year gives way to the slow return of the sun, we’ll gather to mark this meaningful turning point with ritual, music, and shared warmth.
Our evening will begin outdoors around a crackling bonfire and smudging, where we will enjoy hot cider and make wealth crowns as we set our intentions for the season ahead. After our time under the night sky, we’ll move into the Fellowship Hall for a Winter Solstice Service that blends quiet reflection with hopeful celebration.
This is a gathering suitable for children, and all are welcome. Childcare will be provided for little ones (or anyone) who may find it challenging to sit through the reflective portion of the service, so everyone can participate in a way that feels right and comfortable.
We’ll close our time together with cookies and hot cider, sharing conversation and community as we step into the growing light of the new season.
Don’t miss this special opportunity to pause, reflect, and welcome the returning light together.
Getting a ticket helps us ensure we have enough supplies. Thank you!
