ABOUT MIKAL
Mikal Vega, is a former Navy SEAL and 22-year combat veteran who walked the road from trauma to recovery. It wasn’t until several years after returning home that he realized the extent of his “invisible injuries.” He decided to follow his instinct toward alternative approaches. After exploring a variety of options in his own community, Mikal found Kundalini Yoga which helped him to restore balance in his own life. In the end, he made a radical leap forward – from the depths of post-traumatic stress to feeling liberated from his symptoms.
Mikal is committed to the development of an experiential based, personalized process and daily practice in his students to facilitate true, lasting change. Harnessing the lessons learned during his experientially developed philosophies, it’s his vision to help others dismantle perceptual boundaries and to realize their own creative potential. Mikal embodies and broadcasts the warrior energy in his classes. His dedication to technical accuracy develops deep focus and powerful projection establishing balance of destructive energies through the cultivation of ones own creative force.
Professionally, after serving in the military, he received a break into movies via a role in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. From here, Mikal's combat experience and creative skills landed him directorial roles on motion capture for games, including Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Call of Duty: Vanguard, and Diablo 4.
