About this Event
As the ongoing genocide of Palestinians enters 400+ days, and the number of individuals who have been slaughtered since October 7th, 2023, has risen above 300,000, we resist the zionist imperial empire’s attempt to reduce Palestinian lives lost to mere statistics.
“Honoring our Martyrs” is a collaborative offering from Queer Muslims of NY and Chicago-based art collective “For the Most Beautiful One” to memorialize Palestinian Martyrs. The memorial contains portraits created by seasoned artists and beginners, including the work of children, community members, and multigenerational Palestinian families.
We hope the portraits help you learn more about the innocent lives needlessly taken by Israeli Occupation Forces and create an opportunity to find community through grief, resistance, and hope.

Programming will begin at 7pm, with time to view the portraits and auction items before and after. Light bites and beverages will be provided. If you would like to support us with food and drink contributions, please reach out to us directly ahead of the event @queermuslimsofny.
100% of funds will be going to families “For the Most Beautiful One” Collective is in direct contact with. Post event we will be sharing how much money was raised and where we’re sending it.
