Honoring Dr. Les Riding In – Indigenous Peoples Day MemorialThis year, the Native American Student Association will dedicate Indigenous Peoples Day to honoring the life and legacy of our mentor and friend, Dr. Les Riding In.
Dr. Riding In was instrumental in bringing recognition of Indigenous Peoples Day to UTA, and his leadership, teachings, and spirit continue to guide our community.

Location: UTA Library 6th Floor Parlor Room
The program will include reflections from colleagues, students, and community members who worked with Dr. Riding In on initiatives such as the Annual UTA Powwow, the University’s Land Acknowledgment, and the Land Acknowledgment Courtyard. Together, we will remember, celebrate, and carry forward the work he cared so deeply about.
All are welcome to join us for this special day of remembrance.
