Save the date! The 46th Honored Elders Day is coming this June!This annual event honors and commemorates California Native Elders—the keepers of traditions—for their vital role in passing down the cultural history of Native people. Lunch will be provided for tribal Elders from all over California. Native dancers, community service organizations, and artisans offering arts and crafts will be present to enhance the community experience. Additionally, the governor’s office will present an official proclamation celebrating the contributions of California’s Native people.
