Join us for a full immersion Honohono retreat held in the peaceful nature setting of Manawa Retreat. This wānanga offers the opportunity to complete Level 1 Honohono Tahi and Level 2 Honohono Rua in one supportive environment guided by Dion Freeman.Honohono is a traditional Māori healing practice that works with energy, body and spirit to release blockages, restore balance and reconnect you with your natural flow.
Across five days you will learn how to:
• Understand and feel energy within the body
• Navigate the body map and how different areas hold emotion
• Support your own healing and wellbeing
• Deepen awareness of trauma and stored energy
• Use Honohono processes to support release in others
• Work with intention, presence and safety
• Build confidence in practising Honohono
This retreat also includes:
• Honohono advanced techniques
• Foundational Mirimiri principles
• Introduction to Distance Healing
Held onsite as a full immersion experience, the wānanga includes teaching, practice, rest and integration.
Accommodation and all meals are provided.

Manawa offers a sauna and spa that can be used as a cold plunge, along with a heated outdoor pool and beautiful walking areas for reflection and grounding.
