California Country troubadour, Kevin Carducci wore out several pairs of boots on the west coast chitlin’ circuit before earning himself the opportunity wear out several more all over USA & abroad with his project The Easy Leaves. As songwriter, bandleader, & stand-up (bass) guy he’s worked alongside some of the finest folks in ‘the biz’, shared stages with his heroes and cultivated a hearty crop of songs sturdy enough to hold up through the drought years (of which there’s been plenty). He enjoys gardening.
Kevin’s newest material continues in the same California country troubadour tradition where he stared. Cutting a musical path from Bakersfield to Mendocino- past the old honky tonk roadhouses & dusty walnut orchards, up old mountain logging roads. Along the way, I — umm, I mean Kevin — reflects upon the ruin and rewards of years spent chasing disparate dreams against a western backdrop famous for booms & busts, overflowing bounty & punishing dry spells. It’s equal parts homage and requiem to that ever elusive golden paradise that only truly exists in the eye of the beholder - Just so long as the beholder believes. Kevin Carducci — even after all the wildfires, heartbreak, and struggles — somehow still continues to believe.
