About this Event

In the early 1990s designer Enzo Mari proposed simple ways to fashion consumer plastic containers into vessels for fresh flowers in his concept 'Ecolo' for Alessi. An afternoon session at Hong Kong Trees studio uses this project/prompt as inspiration to chop and prop containers and flowers into various compositions and outcomes. Key elements of modern ikebana will be shared and incorporated. Botanicals, branches, snacks & coffee on deck. Please bring one or more discarded/empty plastic containers with potential.
