This upbeat, holiday-inspired tap experience gives dancers the chance to train with real professionals and immerse themselves in a classic style that’s both joyful and technically enriching.

- Learn an authentic Honey Taps routine—full of signature rhythms, staging, and choreography.
- Train with a Honey Taps performer, gaining pro-level insights into musicality, teamwork, and performance polish.
- Participate in a Q&A session about professional dance life, auditions, gigging, and the history behind The Honey Taps performing group.
- Shine in a mini-performance at the end of the workshop to show off new skills and build confidence.
Perfect for dancers ages 8–18 who can already tap dance, but want to expand their technique, explore a new style, or get inspired by industry pros.

Jackie Covas is a professional dancer, choreographer, teacher, and the director of The Honey Taps, the nationally acclaimed vintage tap ensemble she has led for over a decade. Jackie has built a career centered on artistry, joy, and elevating dancers through meaningful performance opportunities.
⭐ About Marquee Dance Center
Marquee Dance Center was founded by Jackie in Torrance as a way to bring high-quality dance education, community, and artistry to the South Bay. After more than ten years directing and performing with The Honey Taps across the country, Jackie wanted to create a home studio where young dancers could grow, feel supported, and experience the magic of performance firsthand.
This workshop is one of the many special experiences Marquee brings to its dancers, connecting them directly with real working professionals.
