About this Event
NGM invites you to a workshop where we'll learn all about the process of extracting and jarring honey with long-time beekeeper, Stefan Opryshko. And everyone will go home with a jar of the sweet stuff!
Have you ever wonder how we get from hive to honey?
During this one hour workshop, we will be removing the protective wax layer from honey frames, spinning them in our centrifugal extractor and then jarring the honey. And the best part...everyone gets to take home a jar!
Stefan Opryshko has been beekeeping for 9 years. What started out as a summer job on a commercial apiary has transitioned into a role as an urban beekeeper, focusing on spreading his passion and knowledge for pollinators with the Edmonton community.
