About this Event
Local apiarist Alan Deeley is buzzing in to tell us about the fascinating world of bees & beekeeping. It’s so much more than just honey. How do bees live and how does a Honeybee Colony function? How has beekeeping evolved over the centuries and what is the role and functioning of bee hives and why do bees swarm?
Come and find out why bees are so important to the environment and what we should know about the threats to bees and all pollinators and what we can do to help bees survive and thus help us. Finally, we hope he may have some honey and hive products to illustrate his talk!
