Celebrate the Season with the Phil’s Hometown Holiday — Now Bigger, Brighter, and Merrier Than Ever!Four festive performances, beloved holiday classics, family traditions, and a 60th-anniversary tribute to “A Charlie Brown Christmas”
Ho, ho, ho! The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra invites the community to kick off the season with its most joyful tradition: Hometown Holiday — now expanded to four performances for the very first time. After years of sold-out shows well before Thanksgiving, the Phil has increased capacity so more families can gather, celebrate, and experience the magic of live music together.
Music Director Steven Karidoyanes leads this sparkling celebration at Plymouth Memorial Hall on December 13–14, featuring a sleigh-full of festive favorites, cherished classics, and surprises for all ages. “This is our fun and festive holiday show,” Karidoyanes says. “It’s our biggest party of the year — many merry musicians on a sleigh ride together with you!”
The Phil’s 2025 Hometown Holiday includes:
• Soprano Kristen Watson, bringing radiant tone to holiday favorites
• The PCIS 6th Grade Chorus (appearing at all performances except Saturday 7:30 PM)
• Exquisite performances of O Holy Night and “Rejoice Greatly” from Handel’s Messiah
• A LIVE orchestral tribute to A Charlie Brown Christmas in honor of its 60th anniversary
• And all the warmth, sparkle, and nostalgia audiences return for every year
With music that delights, surprises, and wraps listeners in holiday cheer, this family-friendly concert remains one of Plymouth’s most beloved seasonal traditions.
Audience members are invited to bring unwrapped gifts to participate in the Phil’s heartfelt March of the Toys community parade, benefiting the Children’s Holiday Fund. This cherished moment brings the spirit of the season to life for families throughout the region.
