Immediately following the Hometown Celebration parade, the Star Lions Club will be serving a $5 hot dog lunch at the Riverhouse starting at 11:00 a.m. Come out and support our Star Lions who do so much for our community!Warm up your ovens! We will also be having the popular pie contest and auction!
Contestant must bring two pies to the Riverhouse between 9:00 and 9:20 a.m. on July 4th; one for the judges and one for the auction. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three best entries; $100, $75 and $50. Pie judging beings at 9:30 a.m.
At noon sharp, the pie auction begins. The judges top ten pies will be sold via live auction led by local auctioneer, Anthony Mendoza. All other entries will be sold via silent auction. The proceeds of the pie auction go to our Star Senior Center.
Cash and cards are accepted for the lunch and pie auction.
