August 11 – Day at the CabinExperience what life was like for a farm family in the 1870s by exploring the Homestead cabin.

Step back in time at CNC's log cabin, timber frame barn and one-room school for a family-friendly afternoon at the Homestead Farm and Log Schoolhouse. Weekly themed activities will be available throughout the afternoon. You may get to try your hand at grinding corn, pumping water, writing on a slate board, working in the garden, tilling the field or watering the animals.
