Homestead Series- SHEEP SHEARING

Our Homestead Series Events allow you to see how a working farm worked in the 1900s. We will have our shearer out shearing the sheep on this day to where the public can watch and see what all it takes to work them for their hooves and skirting the fleece. The public will be able to watch while we are in the barn working the sheep. We will have a station set up to teach how to skirt the fleece as well as let you try it and feel the wool straight off the sheep.
