We’re proud to serve a diverse population of secular homeschoolers. We're purposefully seeking out speakers who are supportive of the LGBTQ community, people of color, and people with disabilities. This event isn't what you might expect of Southern homeschoolers. We'll have over 40 presentations and activities, a comedy show, grown up arts and crafts, and we're hosting two happy hours over the weekend.

Join us for a weekend of community, growth, and fun!
Why We’re the Best Homeschool Convention on the Block
Secular
All content will be 100% secular. This includes presentations and the materials sold in our vendor hall.
Inclusive
We welcome homeschoolers from all backgrounds and affiliations, and we do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or any other characteristic.
Community
We want to bring homeschoolers together! This event will help you connect with homeschool families.
Growth
It doesn’t matter if you’re just starting out on your homeschooling journey or if you have a highschooler. We have sessions to help your homeschool flourish.
Fun
This isn’t your mother’s homeschool convention! While we’ll have plenty of educational presentations, we’ll also have games, crafts, happy hour, a comedy show, and more!

Activities for kids and teens so they don’t have to hang out with the boring grown-ups. Limited space available.

-Josh Jernigan of Gender Education Network will present "Prioritizing Inclusive Homeschool Spaces."
LGBTQ+ affirming and inclusive spaces are hard to come by in the homeschool world. Why is it important to have these spaces for all children? How do we create these spaces for everyone? What’s the point of inclusion and why does it matter? Come join us as we answer these questions, discuss the hows and whys of prioritizing inclusive spaces for our homeschool, talk through the best ways to start these groups, and so much more.
-Kim Johnson of The Lukeion Project will present, "Math History Might Make You a Genius."
Isaac Newton once said, "If I have seen further, it is because I am standing on the shoulders of giants." It is easy to see that calculus or other massive achievements in mathematics are only made possible by previous mathematical achievements, but even ordinary elementary and middle school mathematics is only made possible by the efforts (and missteps) of earlier mathematicians and students. Learn about how the math we use every day came to be the way it is. Explore how learning the history of math can enhance math studies. Finally, gather ideas for how you can incorporate math history into your students' math curriculum.
-Crystal Pullen of NCVPS will present "Online Learning: Choosing the Right Fit."
Feeling overwhelmed by the online homeschooling hype? This presentation cuts through the noise, exploring how to evaluate an online program. Discover the 'pros and cons' of online learning and learn how it can work for your family. Learn how to create a customized homeschool experience that is rich, personalized, and engaging without sacrificing flexibility or commitment.
