BUT, once you learn how they work and what makes them happy they are a super fun treat that can be customized for any event, flavor, design – everything!
Come join us as we share all of our tips and tricks for making cake pops, including how to easily customize the flavors. We have made hundreds of cake pops and want to help you be successful with your own!
Where: Menard Center Commercial Kitchen in Wasilla
When: Only one session will be offered – Wednesday May 8, 1:30-3:30pm
Suggested Age: Recommended for 8 years old and up, if younger please bring a helper!
Cost: $90* – Direct bill vendor for Matsu Central, Twindly Bridge, IDEA, Raven, Cyberlynx, and FOCUS! This class can easily be tied to Math, Art, Home Ec and Life Skills!
*If the student would like to take home a chocolate melting pot in order to easily make cake-pops at home again, the price is $125

What will I learn?!
How to use baked cake with binder and/or mix-ins to create the right consistency
How to shape and best attach the cake-ball to a stick and/or straw
How to best melt chocolate in melting pots and dip/simply decorate cake-pops (standing and sitting)
What will I take home?!
All of the cake-pops you create! At least a dozen of them
Take home a bag of melting chocolate and detailed instructions on how to make them again at home
For the higher price, students also take home a chocolate melting pot so they can use the method we learned in class to make them in the future!!
