Join us for our LAST monthly homeschool workshop of the 2023-2024 school year. This 3.5hr time slot will be filled to the brim with opportunities for your child to think deeply and play wholly; all the while providing an opportunity for both parents and children to make connections with peers.The 9:00am-10:30am time slot is an opportunity for homeschool parents of children 4+ years old to drop off their child. During this time parents are welcome to go have a coffee, a quick shopping trip, or take a deep breath knowing their child is safe and having fun exploring this month's topic for learning with friends.
Beginning at 10:30 our parent and child workshop begins. Parents who dropped off at 9:00am come back, and new families also join. This workshop is for all ages so younger siblings are welcome. Children 3 and up need to register for the event. All children who will be using consumable materials are expected to register. The activities and themes for these workshops will vary monthly but will consistently allow for multi-level learning so that the learners both big and small are able to take the most from these events. We know how important being together is for homeschool families so we have created this structure to support that.
From 11:45-12:30, children and parents will sit down to eat lunches packed from home. During this time parents will have the opportunity to connect with each other.
This month's homeschool workshop is May 31st and themed “Plant Cycles” in honor of this lively time of the year! Miss Jessie will have tons of hands on activities and visuals for the children to curiously explore various life cycles.
After this workshop, we will break for the summer and resume in September.
