Homeschool "Masters & Mediums" Course Overview:
This semester we will study many masters of art from different countries and time periods beginning with the Impressionist Period and working our way towards modernism while developing art skills using various mediums such as pencil, oil pastel, ink, paint, watercolor, etc. that are aligned with the national visual arts standards.
Our goal is for each student to build an amazing art portfolio by the end of the course.
This semester's projects are all new! If your student has participated in previous semesters of homeschool art we will not be repeating projects from those courses.
Course Details:
The instructor for this course is the wonderful Kerry Lang! Kerry has taught homeschool art for the last two semesters, many art camps this year, and was a middle and high school classroom art teacher in Las Cruces. She also homeschooled her own children for many years!
• September 30th - December 9th
• 9 week course
• for 5th - 12th grade students
• Tuesdays 12:30 - 2:30 pm
• $273/+ tax per student
• all supplies are included with the course fee
• course fee is due at the time of registration
• course fee may be paid in full or in four installments
