Timber! Trees are the basis of most buildings in St. Charles County in the 1800s. Visit The Historic Daniel Boone Home and look over the log construction and timber framing of several structures before trying your hand at putting a model timber frame together and carefully using some of the tools used in construction such as the shave horse and chisels. Participants should wear close-toed shoes and dress for weather and getting messy. Space is limited! Pre-registration is required.
