Have a child interested in criminal justice or the law? I am hosting a Homeschool Mock Trial. A mock trial is a simulated courtroom experience where students act as lawyers, witnesses, and other courtroom roles to present a criminal legal case.
Students who wish to participate in one of the following roles will receive guidance and assistance from those in that career field:
1-2 Prosecutors
1-2 Defense Attorneys
1 Defendant
1-2 Clerks
1-2 Courtroom Deputy
1-2 State Witnesses
1-2 Defense Witnesses
Panel of 8 jurors
Those students who wish to be a spectator and not participate are welcomed; however, we do have a capacity level on how many are in the courtroom. Parents are also welcomed.
There will be a dress code required.
