Join the Fredericksburg Area Museum (FAM) for Homeschool Historians, an engaging and interactive program specially designed for elementary-aged homeschool students and their families. Dive into the fascinating stories of Fredericksburg’s past and beyond through hands-on activities.In this exciting session, homeschoolers will discover Fredericksburg’s past by exploring the FAMs over 200-year-old building. Families will learn about the architecture and colonial roots of historic Town Hall through hands-on activities. By the end of the session, families will have identified archeological artifacts from Market Square, created a colonial town, built an arch, and much more! This program is recommended for 3rd – 5th graders.
FAM welcomes children accompanied by an adult (18+). Tickets are $5 per person (children and adults). All attendees over the age of three must purchase a ticket.
