Calling all homeschool students ages 5 - 11 who love learning about science and water!
About this Event

How does water move around the Earth and why does it change its shape? Where does our drinking water come from? Why do we have to clean water after we make it dirty? How can we take good care of the water in our community?

Join the Spokane County Water Resource Center to explore these questions while enjoying interactive exhibits, hands-on investigations, and active learning games.

Please Read:

  • Registration is required to ensure we can accommodate all learners effectively.
  • This is a guided experience with a set start and end time. Students will join other homeschool students to do organized group activities. Please arrive 5-minutes early to allow time for checking-in.
  • All children must be accompanied by a guardian. Siblings ages 4 years and younger may come along; however, participating students must be 5 years and older.
  • Please only include the number of students ages 5 -12 who will be participating directly in the activities.
  • Each event requires a minimum of 10 participants. If we do not reach the minimum, we will contact you the day before the event to cancel.
  • If anyone in your party is not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home (including cold-like symptoms). This is to ensure the well-being and safety of all participants and our educators. If someone shows up visibly ill, we may ask them to leave.
  • We ask parents to help manage their student's behavior so all can have the best experience possible.
  • Please contact us directly to let us know if you or your children need any special accommodations.
