Please read ALL program details before registering. Registration and pre-payment is REQUIRED to attend this program.

Registration will open up March 8th (Earlier registration is available for museum members) Register here: https://bit.ly/HomeschoolHabitatAdaptations
This field trip focuses on the adaptations of plants and animals. From birds to trees, and fish to pollinators, students in grades 2-8 (ages 7-14) will explore how organisms are classified and how they are adapted to their habitats.
This program includes an outdoor component, so students should dress appropriately and wear closed-toed shoes. In the event of inclement weather, an indoor activity will be substituted.
Each family/school group that signs up should be accompanied by an adult chaperone during the program. Participants will be placed into groups of approximately 20, depending on the number of registrants.
---
Program check in will be between 10-10:15AM and the program will begin PROMPTLY at 10:30AM. Cost for each attendee (including adults and siblings, no charge for infants under the age of one) is $2.50.
Online registration and pre-payment is required! Registration fee is nonrefundable. Register here: https://bit.ly/HomeschoolHabitatAdaptations

The adult chaperone must remain with the participating children during the program and we encourage active engagement during the activities.
If you are bringing younger siblings along, please keep in mind that they may participate if you prefer but WILL NEED adult assistance to do the activities.
While we understand that younger children may be in attendance, the accompanying adult is responsible for preventing disruption of the lessons for the participating children.
An additional adult is encouraged to attend with younger children so that they can be taken outside for a walk or given a snack at the picnic tables during the program if necessary.
We will try to group you with your co-op or friends if possible. Please provide that information during registration.
You are welcome to remain on the museum grounds and enjoy a picnic lunch after the program concludes at our picnic tables or on the porch.
Our museum store will be open after the program concludes so that you may shop our specimens and educational items. No more than 6 people in the shop at a time, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
