About this Event
Pre-K–2nd grade homeschool students and their families are invited to the Walters to learn how art can tell stories about heroes.
In this program, we will explore the galleries, searching for heroes in art, and discuss what it means to be a hero. Then, attendees are invited to Studio B where students can create an artwork about a hero in their life. After the guided activities, students and their families are welcome to grab a bite to eat in the Walters Cafe, explore the galleries, or pick up sketching supplies and draw together.
Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Available resources: Sensory Kits, Headphones, Spanish-Language Interpretation
