Fun in the WaterGet ready to get wet and wild with this hands-on aquatic adventure! In Fun in the Water, homeschool students will explore the wonders of Audubon Acres' creek ecosystem through safe, guided water play and discovery activities. Children will wade into the stream to search for critters like crayfish and aquatic insects while learning how these tiny creatures help scientists understand water quality. With nets, buckets, and curiosity in hand, students will gain a deeper appreciation for freshwater habitats and the importance of conservation, all while having a splash!
Please bring water shoes, a change of clothes, optional a towel
Note: Children who would like to explore in water deeper than their knees will be required to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD), (Not Provided)
Each Child age 3+ will receive a net to take home with them. Additional nets may be purchased
