Join us for some fun outside of the house and classroom! Step back in time and explore the science and engineering behind colonial homes! This immersive homeschool program invites students to discover how grand homes like the William Paca House were designed and built.
Through hands-on activities and guided exploration, participants will learn the basics of construction and design in the 1700s. Students will build mini structures, test materials, and learn about Georgian architecture while applying STEM principles. In comparing colonial building techniques with modern methods, students will gain a deeper appreciation for the innovation and hard work of early builders.
Two sessions are available for specific age groups:
Elementary Students 9:30 am - 11:30 am
Middle & High School Students 1 pm - 3 pm
