A panel hosted by Congresswoman Nikema Williams at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference.
About this Event

Emerging from a history of economic exclusion, this panel will discuss the origins of the racial wealth gap and share homeownership as a pathway to progress. Most recently, prominent Black Entertainers have demonstrated this pathway as a successful strategy. This is an opportunity to learn more about their success in working with local and national public partners to deliver impact for our most vulnerable urban neighborhoods and learn about the legislation supporting ownership as a strategy to build wealth in the Black community.

The panel will be moderated by Lisa Rice, President and Chief Executive Officer for the National Fair Housing Alliance, and the panel will be joined by philanthropist and former NFL player Warrick Dunn.
