It’s time for our October Homemakers Swap! Join us for a morning connecting and sharing on Saturday 25th October at 10:00am. Location to be confirmed closer to the time.
Bring along your homemade, homegrown, or handcrafted items to swap. Think baked goods, preserves, fresh produce, plants, crafts, sewing, knitting, and more!
How it works:
Homemade items: Each member is to bring 5 homemade items. This means that there will be enough for each member to select 5 for themselves to take home.
On Arrival:
You may be given a label with your name on it. This will make it easier to remember everyone’s names.
Set Up
Place your 5 homemade goods on the tables provided. Take a moment to admire everyone’s beautiful creations!
Mingle & Connect
Enjoy a cuppa, chat to fellow homemakers, and soak up the community spirit while we get ready to start the swap.
Swap Time
Hosts for each group will have their own ideas around how the exchange will happen and they will let you know on the day.
Each person will leave with 5 special homemade items, hopefully all a little different from what they brought!
✨Important✨
Please package and label all homemade items where appropriate so that others selecting your homemade goods are aware of what you have made or if there are specific instructions. Eg skincare, aromatherapy, food items etc.
*Note that the locations will be confirmed once numbers are determined so this may happen as late as a week out from the event however, the date and time should remain the same.
If the group numbers are below 5 this may mean the gathering may not go ahead for that specific area and we will let you all know so that you can join another group. Selecting ‘going’ on the event page is essential as this will give hosts accurate numbers.
Please also let us know if you are bringing your kids with you. This is welcomed but we’d like to know if they require a high chair etc.
