The first day of winter and the longest night of the year is a somber event of utmost importance. Please join in solidarity with local friends and neighbors to honor and remember those in our community who have experienced homelessness and who have lost their lives in 2025. Vigil will include reading of names, candle ceremony, important words to reflect on, and a time of community remembrance.
Those who attend are encouraged to bring new warm socks, hats and gloves or a new gently used warm winter coat to donate.
We want to honor and remember all unsheltered people we lost in 2025. If you are aware of a person, we encourage you to share their name with Kristina McNiece at [email protected]
