The Good News Rescue Mission will be holding our annual Homeless Memorial Service honoring the memory of those who passed away while experiencing homelessness and bringing awareness to the harsh realities of living without a home. The ceremony is open to all, and media is invited.
The dark and cold days of January are a timely reminder of the plight of so many of our neighbors who struggle to find basic needs. This ceremony will honor all who have perished while experiencing homelessness. Each year we try to identify as many people as possible who passed away and read their names in memory of them and their lives. It's likely the number is higher as not all are identified as experiencing homelessness.
When: Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 10am-11am
