*You must register using our ticket link below to secure your spot!*Join us in our gardens for a hands-on workshop learning all about growing tomatoes in the hot and humid Southeast! Everything from sowing seeds in January, to saving them at the end of season will be covered.
Learn about planning your garden, selecting the right variety, seed germination strategies, when and how to plant, fertilizing, irrigating; staking, pruning, and seed saving!
You will get to see Working Food's trial tomato garden at GROW HUB where we're growing 10 different varieties.
Presented by Sarah Sterling and Melissa DeSa of Working Food, and our long time friend Timothy Noyes, a local tomato grower and tomato plant breeder.
Workshop tickets are priced at $30 per person. We're committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not prevent participation. Limited discounted and complimentary tickets are offered to individuals whose budgets cannot cover the $30 fee. Every ticket sale is a donation that supports our work preserving crop biodiversity
