Homebrewed Comedy at the John Barleycorn Tavern

The laughter is coming to Owego when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the John Barleycorn on Wednesday, Nov. 5. Dan Danzy is headlining the show and Mike Terry and Ryan Flaherty are joining host Mike Peters.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and there's a recommended $5 donation at the door, which opens at 7. Come out and enjoy the show.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.

Ryan P. Flaherty is a comedian from Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He’s performed at Don’t Tell Comedy shows, the Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival, Krackpots Comedy Club in Ohio, Rhino Comedy, the Scranton Fringe Festival and probably in your weird friend’s garage. He’s also a member of the Scranton Improv & Comedy Players. Additionally, and most important: His favorite color is green.

Mike Terry is an established comedian in the Syracuse scene. Quiet until he gets on the mic, Terry is a strong comic who's worked all over New York. A host at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, Terry was a finalist for a residency at Broadway Comedy Club and was a regular at the 'Cuse Comedy Showcase. He also co-hosts the No Name Podcast with Jax-On.

Dan Danzy has been doing comedy all over the United States since he was a teenager. He's worked with Jim Jefferies, Dana Gould, Harland Williams, Bobcat Goldthwait, the list goes on. He was runner up in the Funniest Comic in Texas competition held by the Improv Comedy Club Franchise.
