The laughter is coming to Lock Haven when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the Hangar 9 Restaurant and Lounge on Saturday, Feb. 7. Ashley Pontius is headlining the show and Kaelin Clements is joining host Mike Peters.
The show starts at 8 p.m., but get there early to get some drinks. Tickets are free, so tip the staff really well. Seating begins at 7:30 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Kaelin Clements brings the perfect blend of dark humor and relatability to every set. Divorce, delayed parenthood and her love of all things macabre make her one of the most sought after comedians in the DMV. She has been seen at Magooby's Joke House, Church of Satire, Zanies comedy club in Chicago and the Good Karma Comedy Festival. Notably she has opened for Jim Florentine and Rob Stant.
Ashley got her start at the age of sixteen, writing jokes for comedians twice her age. She has been seen at the Laugh Factory in Chicago, The DC Comedy Loft, The Capitol Theatre in York, Pa., and comedy clubs all over the country. Ashley has had the privilege of opening for Matt Braunger, Ryan Long and Carlos Mencia. She was a 2019 Finalist for Magooby's Comedian of the Year and has headlined The Ottobar and Church of Satire Comedy Club.
