The laughter is coming to Binghamton when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at the Airport Inn Bar and Grill on Tuesday, Dec. 17. Cody Montanye is headlining the show and Travis Stealey is joining host Mike Peters.The show starts at 7 p.m., but get there early to get some drinks. It's a free show, so tip the staff super well. Seating begins at 6 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Travis Stealey is a comedian based out of Albany, where he produces his own shows and performs all over the northeast and into Hawaii. A natural storyteller, Stealey is a regular at the Mohegan Sun and Funny Bone in Albany. He performed at Skankfest in Las Vegas in 2022.
Cody Montanye is an Albany comedian who’s been doing stand-up since 2016. He performs all throughout the northeast at Comix Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Proctors Theater in New York and the Paramount Theater in Vermont. Montanye regularly features at the Comedy Works in Saratoga Springs. He’s featured for Ryan Hamilton at the Albany Funny Bone and Kurt Metzger at Comedy Works, Soul Joel’s Comedy Club in Pennsylvania and FPX theater in Maryland.
