The laughter is coming to North Syracuse when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at McGraw Box Brewing Co. on Friday, Dec. 13. Nick Marra is headlining the show and Sean Day is joining host Mike Peters.The show starts at 7 p.m., but get there early to get some drinks. It's a free show, so tip the staff super well. Seating begins at 6:30 p.m.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy. He hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast.
Sean Day is a Rochester comedian and former co-host of Hate This Podcast. Working consistently in Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse, Day is becoming an area favorite. He was named Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2019 and is a regular at Comedy at the Carlson. Day has opened for Harland Williams and Tim Meadows.
Nick Marra has been entertaining crowds with his down-to-earth comedy for more than 20 years. Drawing on his experiences from growing up in an Italian-Catholic home to his current family – two sons in their 20s and a daughter – audiences easily relate to his quirky observations.
