The laughter is coming to Johnson City when Homebrewed Comedy hits the stage at Defiant Designs Tattoos on Friday, March 13. Brian Enck is headlining the show and Stephen Brown and Tia Mauro are joining host Mike Peters.
Tickets are $10 and available online now or at the door. The show starts at 8 p.m., and seating starts at 7 p.m.
About the Comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating and observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters is the founder of Homebrewed Comedy and runs the Don't Tell Comedy shows in Binghamton and Syracuse. He's worked at the Syracuse Funny Bone, Comedy at the Carlson in Rochester and Wise Crackers in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Greg Fitzsimmons, Matt Braunger, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcasts, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
Tia Mauro is a Binghamton-based comedian and teacher who spends her days in the classroom and her nights oversharing on stage. Her material covers everything from teacher life, pop culture and navigating your 20s – if she’s tall enough to reach the mic stand.
Stephen Brown is a comedian from Binghamton who is way too open for his own good. A former musician and a father of three boys, Brown is a fantastic story-teller with years of ammunition. He’s able to turn the most embarrassing situations in his life into comedic currency for everybody to enjoy. He produces shows at Crooked Mouth Brewing in Endicott and is the founder of the Crooked Mouth Comedy Festival. He’s also a regular at the Syracuse Funny Bone.
Brian Enck got his start in the Rochester scene before moving to New York City. He moved back to Syracuse in 2021 and now works at the Syracuse Funny Bone. A regular at Caroline’s, LOL Comedy and other clubs before moving out of Brooklyn, Enck was featured in the New York Comedy Festival.
