Homebrewed Comedy at Beer Thirty

The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Thursday, Oct. 10. Abdul Hadi is headlining the show and he'll be joined by Kasey Nicholson, Paul Lee and host Mike Peters.

The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.

Paul Lee is a very funny comedian out of Binghamton. Armed with quick jokes and hard punches, he’s one of the regulars in a growing scene. Lee got a late start in stand-up, but he’s quickly making up some ground. 

Kasey Nicholson started doing stand-up in Harrisburg, Pa. She returned from the Air Force in 2019 and got back into the Harrisburg fold. Nicholson performs all across Pennsylvania. She’s been at the Church of Satire, the Harrisburg Comedy Zone and the Laughing Stock Comedy Club.

The funniest Ethiopian you've ever met, Abdul Hadi is a favorite in Syracuse. He won the Comedy and Chill competition in Syracuse, reached the semifinals of Rochester’s Funniest Person in 2021, hosts at the Syracuse Funny Bone and brings a pleasant mix of self-deprecating humor and a love of the finer things in life -- like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Hadi is able to make even the simplest things in life funny.
