About this Event

The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Friday, Sept. 7. Will Phillips is headlining the show and he'll be joined by Stephen Brown, Ryan Manzo and host Mike Peters.

The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.

Ryan Manzo started doing stand-up in 2023, but has quickly become a favorite in Scranton, Pa. His witty humor and quick one-liners keep the audience on its toes. Manzo has featured at Spacement Arts and headlined at the Keystone Stage.

Stephen Brown is a comedian from Binghamton who is way too open for his own good. A former musician and a father of three boys, Brown is a fantastic story-teller with years of ammunition. He’s able to turn the most embarrassing situations in his life into comedic currency for everybody to enjoy. He won the Clash of the Comics at the Syracuse Funny Bone in 2023, has opened for Steve Byrne and performed at the Uptown Comedy Festival and the Finger Lakes Comedy Festival. He also hosts the open mic and comedy showcase at Crooked Mouth in Endicott, N.Y.

A talented comedian, writer and author, Will Phillips is a Utica favorite. He’s the head of content development for Stage Time Trivia, which serves several restaurants around the Central New York area, and co-created the popular KoldCast web series, M**der Squad, D.B.A. Before his stand-up career began, Phillips spent two years working with Family Guy and wrote Hollywood Failure, which was published in 2014.
