The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Saturday, Jan. 6. BFR is headlining the show and will be joined by Devin Foreal, Stephen Brown and host Mike Peters.
The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
Stephen Brown is a comedian from Binghamton who is way too open for his own good. A former musician and a father of three boys, Brown is a fantastic story-teller with years of ammunition. He’s able to turn the most embarrassing situations in his life into comedic currency for everybody to enjoy. He won the Clash of the Comics at the Syracuse Funny Bone in 2023, has opened for Steve Byrne and hosts the Crooked Mouth monthly open mic.
Devin Foreal is a Pennsylvania native, whose surreal yet earnest comedy has been enjoyed on three coasts. He’s performed at Bumbershoot, the Washington Comedy Festival and the Orlando Comedy Festival.
Bill Russum was one of the mainstays of the comedy scene in Lewisburg, Pa., before moving to Harrisburg. Russum has been able to combine a minor drinking problem with a major podcasting addiction. He hosts Oh, Yeah, Let’s Talk About and It’s About Time: A Sopranos Watch Podcast with Mike Peters. A musician and deejay, Russum is too busy for his own good, but is free enough to keep the beer fridge full.
