The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Thursday, April 10. Tyler Rothrock is headlining the show and he'll be joined by Kris Fried, Ryan Hayes and host Mike Peters.The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
Ryan Hayes is a force to be reckoned with in the local buffet scene. In the local comedy scene, well, he’s good enough. Hayes’ comedy is a lot like the first time you heard Creed: Hopefully you like Creed.
A stand-up comedian and writer, Kris Fried, is from the Lehigh Valley, Pa., area. He’s a regular at the Comedy Cellar in New York City and a panelist on Fox News’ The Greg Gutfeld Show. He’s appeared in sketches on Conan O’Brien and written material for SNL’s Weekend Update, Attack of the Show! and the WWE. His album, “We’re All Adults Here,” reached No. 7 on the iTunes comedy charts and his second album, “It Takes a Privilege,” came out in February 2022.
Tyler Rothrock has been doing stand-up for more than a decade. His debut comedy album, “Tyler of Nazareth,”was released in 2018 and reached No. 8 on the Billboard comedy chart. He’s appeared in the New York Comedy Festival and is the co-creator of ComedyPlatz at Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pa. He hosts the comedy/golf show, Tee’d Up, and is the co-host of the Night Moves podcast with Sean Preston and Lou Misiano.
