The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Saturday, May 25. Kenneth McLaurin is headlining the show and he'll be joined by Chris Jones, Amanda Roberto and host Mike Peters.The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.
About the comedians:
Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.
Amanda Roberto moved to Binghamton from New York City and started doing stand-up in 2023. She’s funny, relatable and taller than she looks. She’s someone you’ll want to see.
Hailing from the Pocono Mountains, Chris Jones and his observational style of comedy has performed all over the tri-state area. Credits include opening for Gilbert Gottfried, playing Musik Fest and the Sherman Theater.
Kenneth McLaurin has long gone by the moniker "The Funniest Person You've Never Heard Of," but because of the success of his freshman album, "Cuttin' Up, Comedy at The Shop," he now adds the title of most listened to person on Spotify in the Village of Ithaca. Witty, clever, Insightful and sometimes shocking, but always funny is what you get with McLaurin.
