Homebrewed Comedy at Beer Thirty

The laughs are back at Beer Thirty when Homebrewed Comedy comes to Binghamton on Thursday, Dec. 26. Seth Ruddick is headlining the show and he'll be joined by John Grier, Connor Swagler and host Mike Peters.

The show will start at 7 p.m. and seating starts at 6:30. It's a free show, so tip the staff extra well.

About the comedians:

Mike Peters, a Binghamton comedian, specializes in self-deprecating, observational humor. A contributor for Funny or Die, Peters performed at the Funny Bone in Syracuse, the Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City, won the Utica Brews Laugh Contest and Uptown Roast Battle and opened for Super Troopers’ Rabbit, Erik Stolhanske and Gilbert Gottfried. Peters produces shows all over New York and hosts his weekly podcast, On the Mic with Mike Peters.

A native of Nichols, N.Y., Connor Swagler got his start in stand-up in Rochester. He’s been steadily building his arsenal of one-liners and stories -- much to the audiences’ delight. The way Swagler looks is just about how his comedy sounds.

John Grier is a high-energy comedian based in Pennsylvania. Known for his off-the-way punchlines and bizarre scenarios, Grier’s life is anything but normal. He’s making a name for himself throughout the Northeast and can be seen at Bethel Woods in New York, the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pa., Broadway Comedy Club and Krackpots Comedy Club in Massillon, Ohio. 

Seth Ruddick is a comedian and producer in Philadelphia. He grew up in Cortland and was a big part of the upstate scene in New York before moving to New Jersey in 2022. He's become a regular face across Philadelphia and Eastern Pennsylvania, and he's performed all over the Northeast. Ruddick unleashes his cantankerous take on his everyday happenings -- from working overnights to his relationships -- much to the audience’s delight. Ruddick has opened for the Reverend Bob Levy and has put thousands of comedy miles on his cars during his career.
