This will be the 3rd homework club meet up of the year!We will meet inside the library and upstairs in the bigger conference room.
The GOAL: I would like to form a "homework club" 1-2 times a month between a Tuesday - Friday. We will meet between the library, the play house, created by you, and POSSIBLY EPAC, so we can “encourage” an “education” atmosphere with or an imaginary setting. For about 2 hours mainly towards grades 2nd-6th (if you have a younger or older child that's okay) I would love this to be a space/time we encourage each other to make connections and build Self-Efficacy and self compassion for our kids and us at the same time. Help them be independent and motivated to learn and practice what they are studying.
Opening skill details / what to expect:
Opening skill:
We will be going over gratitude. Please PRINT OUT PAGES 9-16. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1JMEfoMnPWhhYeVeDusXMcUBhXi4SthuM/view?usp=drivesdk

We will read a story about gratitude as well.
After skill: start "homework" and within time have the kids working together along with parents help.
After we "exercise our brains", let them use their child like imaginations and play at the park or games in the room if time allows
