About this Event
Trees are all around us, but how often do we stop to really consider them? Trees have a fascinating secret life that is fun to explore. We will discuss amazing tree facts before we venture on a trek to appreciate some of the wonderful trees at Leu Gardens. You will make an awsome tree keepsake to take home.
Home School classes are priced for one adult and up to two children to attend. The classes are primarily geared for 9 to 12 year olds. (Younger children may attend but the parent should be prepared to help them with certain activities.)
Instructor: Sandi Linn, Education Supervisor.
Prior to working at Leu Gardens, Sandi was the Director of Education at the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens, and then the Curator of Education at the Orange County Regional History Center. She is the author of Invasive Species, a YA fictional novel incorporating real environmental concepts.
