Bizarre Life of Plants!
Home School Family Class
April 19, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
There are many plants that have adapted strange forms of defense and/or survival. In this Home School Family Class we will take an imaginary trip around the world to discover the most unusual, sometimes scary, but always fascinating plants that share our planet. After a scavenger hunt through the gardens to discover some interesting plants, you will create a take-home project as part of the fun.
Home School classes are priced for one adult and up to two children to attend. The classes are primarily geared for 8 to12 year olds. Younger siblings are welcome but may need help from their parent or guardian with projects.
This class is taught by Sandi Linn, Education Supervisor at Harry P. Leu Gardens and author of the Middle School /YA novel Invasive Species, available on Amazon.
