� Honey Mustard Chicken with Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Broccoli ���
This Honey Mustard Chicken is tender, juicy, and coated in a perfectly balanced sweet and tangy sauce. It’s served with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and vibrant broccoli, creating a wholesome, satisfying meal that's full of flavor!
Ingredients:
For the Honey Mustard Chicken:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts �: Tender and juicy chicken.
3 tbsp honey �: Adds natural sweetness.
3 tbsp Dijon mustard �: For a tangy kick.
1 tbsp olive oil �: For searing the chicken.
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar �: For a slight tang.
1 tsp garlic powder �: For a mild, aromatic flavor.
1 tsp dried thyme �: Adds a fragrant herbal note.
Salt and pepper, to taste �: For seasoning.
For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes:
4 large potatoes, peeled and chopped �: Russet potatoes work best for a creamy texture.
3 tbsp unsalted butter �: Adds richness and creaminess.
1/2 cup milk �: For a smooth texture.
2 garlic cloves, minced �: For a delicious garlic flavor.
Salt and pepper, to taste �: For seasoning.
For the Broccoli:
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets �: Fresh and vibrant.
1 tbsp olive oil �: For roasting or sautéing.
Salt and pepper, to taste �: For seasoning.
Lemon zest � (optional): For a fresh, zesty touch.
Instructions:
Make the Honey Mustard Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and dried thyme until smooth and well-combined.
Set the sauce aside.
Cook the Honey Mustard Chicken:
Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes per side until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).
Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat and pour the honey mustard sauce over the chicken.
