Special Collections welcomes Country Roads Magazine editor Jordan LaHaye Fontenot to the Main Library at Goodwood on Wednesday, April 16 at 6 p.m. to discuss her book, Home of the Happy: A Murder on the Cajun Prairie. Learn about the death of her great-grandfather, a businessman and community leader in Mamou, who was murdered over forty years ago and how it turned their small community upside down. Jordan will discuss the many layers of this crime and the way this tragedy affects her family even today. Books will be available for purchase.
