Date: Thursday, October 10
Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Lander Art Gallery
Abney Cultural Center
Exhibit will run October 1 through 13
Hours: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
About the Exhibit:
“Home-Land” is a collection of handmade, cyanotype photographs that are direct impressions of botanical specimens collected from the home states of the exhibit’s featured artists. This work represents a visual dialogue about history, landscape and the environment. Drawing upon the cyanotype process, and a shared interest in botany, Jones and Males create work that explores relationship between landscape and home place.
