Each artist’s interpretation of ‘home’ is depicted differently across all mediums, be it a place, time, person or even an emotion. This challenging and exciting exhibition by 30 artists contains both literal and conceptual ideas of the theme across a variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting, printmaking, installation, jewellery, ceramics and mixed media. Many aspects are explored and depicted through diverse and unique artworks, with the idea of 'home' coming from a special place of creativity and enthusiasm. Works range from house sculptures by Glenda Kent, to the ‘rearrange it yourself’ installation by Aaron Leng, to quirky and whimsical ceramics by Shari Russell.
Exhibition concludes on Friday 27 August at 3 pm.
